Rhodes College Athletics

2012-2013: Mike played in all 26 games off the bench, while averaging a career high 18.2 minutes per game…..averaged 5.3 points per game along with 1.5 rebounds…..helped Rhodes to a share of the first ever SAA regular season conference championship and a record of 16-10…..scored a season high 13 points on 1/18/13 against Millsaps College. 

2011-2012: Mike played in all 27 games off the bench, while averaging 12.2 minutes per game.....averaged 4.4 points per game along with 0.8 rebounds.....helped Rhodes to the SCAC Conference Semifinals and a record of 18-9.....shot a career high 41.1% from the three-point line…..set a career high in scoring (19) on 12/2/11 against the University of the South-Sewanee.

2010-2011: Mike played in all 25 of the team's games; including 1 start…..averaging 14.5 minutes per game.....averaged 4.0 points per game along with 1.0 rebounds per game…..helped Rhodes to the SCAC Conference Tournament and a record of 7-18.

Prior to Rhodes:  Michael Gallagher, a Chesterfield, Missouri native, joins the Lynx after an outstanding career at Whitfield High School.  While at Whitfield, under Coach Mike Potosu, he was a 4-year letter winner.  As a junior, Michael and the Whitfield Warriors placed 2nd in Missouri Class 3A State Finals and as a senior, Michael and the Warriors finished 3rd in the State Finals. Michael averaged 12 points per game and led the St. Louis area in 3-point field goals in a season.  He finished his career as the school's 3rd all-time leading 3-point shooter.  Michael played AAU basketball for the St. Louis Raptors program under Coach Patrick Betley.
