Millsaps responded with three runs across the first two innings, but that would be the last time they threatened. Rhodes held the lead late but couldn't close it out, falling 6-5 to Millsaps in the series finale on Sunday afternoon. The Lynx struck first in the opening inning and regained control in the sixth, stringing together key plays to take a 5-2 lead. Capitalizing on passed balls, defensive pressure, and timely hitting from Kate Ledlie, Rhodes appeared to have momentum heading into the final frame. However, Millsaps answered in the bottom of the seventh with a three-run rally, using a combination of extra-base hits and timely singles to walk it off and avoid the sweep.

Kate Ledlie led the way offensively, going 2-for-3 with an RBI and playing a key role in Rhodes' four-run sixth inning.
