Men's Lacrosse Falls in Regular Season Finale

Game Recap: Rhodes vs. Sewanee
In a hard-fought conference showdown filled with momentum swings and standout performances, the Men's Lacrosse Team fell to Sewanee by a final score of 15-7 at Crain Field in Memphis, Tennessee. While the scoreboard favored the visitors, the contest featured strong defensive play, clutch saves, and determined second-half efforts that reflected the Lynx's resilience on Senior Day.

Key Performances
Gavin Nagle led the scoring effort for the Lynx, recording 2 goals and 1 assist while creating multiple chances throughout the afternoon. His late-game scoring burst helped Rhodes finish strong and showcased his offensive leadership.

In the midfield, John Mori delivered a steady all-around performance with 1 goal, 2 ground balls, and 3 shots on goal, helping Rhodes generate opportunities and compete for possession in key stretches.

Defensively, Burke Wade anchored the effort at the faceoff, winning 9 faceoffs and collecting 7 ground balls to give the Lynx valuable possessions. Goalkeeper Jason Rubinstein came up clutch with 16 saves, repeatedly denying Sewanee on the door step and keeping Rhodes within distance throughout the game.

The Lynx continued to fight in the second half, with Griffin Galloway netting an unassisted score in the third quarter. In the closing minutes, Nagle added two more goals to cap the day and send Rhodes into the postseason with confidence and momentum. Senior Day also provided an opportunity to celebrate the program's graduating class, whose leadership and commitment have helped shape the culture of Rhodes Men's Lacrosse.

With the regular season complete, Rhodes has officially clinched a spot in the SAA Conference Tournament. The Lynx now turn their focus to postseason play, where they will look to build on their competitive spirit and make a strong run for a conference title.
