Game Recap: Game 1 vs Williams Baptist
In a competitive matchup that stayed within reach early, Rhodes fell to Williams Baptist, 7-3, on April 13 in Memphis. After a scoreless start through two innings, Williams Baptist struck first in the third and gradually built momentum, capitalizing on key opportunities late in the game.
Rhodes answered in the fourth inning with a big swing from Isabela Barber, who launched a two-run home run to even the score at 2-2. However, Williams Baptist responded quickly and never relinquished control, adding runs in the fourth and breaking things open with a three-run homer in the seventh.

Key Performances
Barber led the Lynx offensively, going 1-for-2 with a home run and two RBIs, accounting for the majority of Rhodes' scoring. Kaitlyn Sun also contributed, finishing 1-for-2 with an RBI and a run scored.

Talia Travis added a strong performance at the plate, going 1-for-2 with a double and scoring a run. Athena Gonzales and Kate Ledlie each recorded hits as Rhodes totaled six on the day.

After dropping the opener, Rhodes answered in a big way with an 8-4 win over Williams Baptist. Despite falling behind early, the Lynx steadily chipped away before breaking the game open with a four-run sixth inning to take full control.
Williams Baptist struck first in the opening inning and extended their lead to 3-0 by the third, but Rhodes began to shift momentum in the bottom half. Kaitlyn Sun got things started with an RBI single, and the Lynx continued to apply pressure in the fourth and fifth innings to take a 4-3 lead.
The turning point came in the sixth, when Rhodes erupted for four runs behind clutch hitting from Sun and Kate Ledlie, turning a tight game into a comfortable advantage they would not surrender.

Key Performances
Sun had a standout performance at the plate, going 4-for-4 with three RBIs and a run scored, leading a Rhodes offense that totaled 15 hits.
Isabella Phelps was another key contributor, finishing 3-for-3 with two RBIs and two runs scored. Kate Ledlie added two RBIs, while Katie Bejian recorded two hits and scored a run.
Barber also contributed an RBI, as the Lynx lineup showed depth and consistency throughout.
In the circle, Taylor Petty went the distance, throwing a complete game with seven strikeouts while allowing just four runs (three earned) on six hits.

Rhodes battled throughout but a four-run sixth inning by Hendrix proved to be the difference in a 4-2 loss on April 14 in Memphis.
The Lynx struck first in the third inning when Kaitlyn Sun delivered an RBI single to give Rhodes an early 1-0 lead. Rhodes maintained control through five innings behind solid pitching, keeping Hendrix off the board.
However, the momentum shifted in the sixth as Hendrix capitalized on timely hitting and defensive miscues to plate four runs, including multiple unearned runs, turning a tight game into a 4-1 deficit.
Rhodes attempted a late push in the seventh, as Athena Gonzales doubled in a run to cut the lead to two, but the comeback fell short.

Key Performances
Sun continued her strong stretch at the plate, going 3-for-4 with an RBI to lead the offense.
Gonzales added a 2-for-4 performance with a double and RBI, while Harper Allee-Press also recorded a hit as Rhodes totaled eight on the day.
In the circle, Taylor Petty pitched into the sixth inning, allowing two earned runs while striking out three. Abby Froelich provided relief, finishing the game in the circle.

Game Recap: Game 2 vs Hendrix College
Rhodes delivered a statement, overwhelming Hendrix in a 14-0 run-rule victory.
The Lynx wasted no time taking control, erupting for six runs in the second inning to set the tone early. Rhodes continued to apply pressure in the fourth, plating eight more runs in a decisive offensive surge that put the game out of reach.
With contributions up and down the lineup and dominant pitching in the circle, Rhodes controlled every aspect of the game from start to finish.

Isabela Barber led the offensive explosion, going 3-for-4 with a home run, five RBIs, and two runs scored.
