Berry College is host to two golf tournaments in Savannah, GA, March 9-10.  The Port City Classic is being played at Savannah Country Club and the Savannah Invitational is being played at The Club at Savannah Harbor.

Day 1 Recap:
Day one at Savannah Country Club, Kaylie Hui (FY, Newman School, New Orleans), shot 73 and is tied for the lead with Kirstyn  Page from Pfeiffer.  "Kaylie played a magnificent round," said Lynx head coach Mike Clary.  "She had four birdies and hit a bunch of fairways and greens."

Junior Co-Captain Lauren Schwing shot 79.  "Lauren had a little bit of an off day, but she's still very good,  even on an off day," said Coach Clary.  

Fun day for the Lynx golf team and Catie Bernoski, as her parents, Claudia and Frederik Bernoski, flew in from The Netherlands to watch the tournament.  Catie carded a solid 81, but looks to go lower in the 2nd and final round tomorrow.
