Game Recap: Rhodes vs. Trinity University (TX)

The Rhodes College women's basketball team dropped an 88–74 Southern Athletic Association decision at Trinity (TX) on Thursday evening, February 6, 2026, at the Bell Center in San Antonio, Texas. The Lynx move to 6–14 overall and 2–7 in SAA play.

Rhodes got off to a strong start, taking an 18–15 lead after the opening quarter and extending the advantage to 42–37 at halftime behind efficient second-quarter shooting. Trinity used a decisive third-quarter surge to swing momentum, outscoring the Lynx 28–12 to take control of the contest heading into the final period.

Key Performances

AC Milam led Rhodes with 23 points, connecting on four three-pointers while playing 36 minutes. Kelsey Willingham added 16 points on 6-of-12 shooting and a perfect 4-for-4 effort at the free-throw line. Mackenzie McKown finished with 12 points, knocking down four shots from beyond the arc.

Alyssa Bongiovanni posted a strong all-around performance with nine points, 14 rebounds, and three assists, while Avery Marsh contributed six points, five rebounds, and six assists.

Rhodes shot 75 percent from the field in the second quarter to build a five-point halftime lead. The Rhodes College women's basketball team dropped a 73–39 Southern Athletic Association decision to Southwestern (TX) on Sunday afternoon, February 8, 2026, at the Corbin J. Robertson Center in Georgetown, Texas. The Lynx move to 6–15 overall and 2–8 in conference play.

Southwestern took control early, building a nine-point lead after the first quarter and extending the advantage to 39–24 at halftime. Rhodes continued to compete defensively but struggled to find consistency on the offensive end as Southwestern pulled away in the second half.

Key Performances

AC Milam and Kelsey Willingham led the Lynx with 10 points apiece. Milam added four rebounds and converted all six of her free-throw attempts, while Willingham pulled down five rebounds. Avery Marsh finished with eight points and six rebounds, and Alyssa Bongiovanni contributed five points, six rebounds, and a blocked shot.

Game Highlights

Rhodes opened the game by shooting 50 percent from three-point range in the first quarter, but Southwestern answered with efficient scoring inside to take an early lead.
