Game Recap: Rhodes vs. Maryville University
The Rhodes College field hockey team continued its strong start to the season with a 5-3 victory over Maryville (Mo.) on October 3 at Maryville A.C. in St. Louis, Missouri. The Lynx improved to 7-1 on the season after overcoming an early Maryville goal and scoring three straight goals across the third and fourth quarters.

Alder Dickey led the Rhodes attack with two goals, scoring in the 41st and 47th minutes to give the Lynx a 4-2 advantage. Maria Zaporozhski added a goal in the first quarter, while Meredith Dunn and Virginia Shuff each found the back of the cage. Dunn also recorded an assist on Shuff's fourth-quarter goal, while Dickey assisted Zaporozhski.
