Game Recap: Rhodes vs. Sewanee

The Rhodes College women's basketball team earned an 81–68 Southern Athletic Association road victory over Sewanee on January 9, 2026, at Juhan Gymnasium. After trailing following the opening quarter, the Lynx took control with a dominant third-quarter performance and never looked back.

Rhodes entered halftime down 42–37 before clamping down defensively in the third quarter, holding Sewanee to just six points while scoring 22 of its own to seize momentum. The Lynx maintained their advantage in the fourth quarter, matching Sewanee basket-for-basket to close out the win.

Key Performances

Avery Marsh led all scorers with 19 points, adding eight assists and three three-pointers to pace the Lynx. Kelsey Willingham followed with 17 points and a team-high 12 rebounds, recording a double-double on efficient shooting.

Alyssa Bongiovanni contributed 15 points and nine rebounds, while AC Milam added 14 points and four assists as Rhodes placed five players in double figures.


Game Recap: Rhodes vs. Centre College

The Rhodes College women's basketball team dropped a 76–56 decision to Centre College on January 11, 2026, at Alumni Gymnasium in Danville, Kentucky. The Lynx stayed competitive through the first half before Centre used a strong third quarter to create separation.

Rhodes trailed just 31–25 at halftime after an evenly played opening half. Centre opened the second half with a decisive run, outscoring the Lynx 26–14 in the third quarter to take control of the contest. Rhodes responded with its strongest offensive quarter in the fourth but was unable to close the gap.

Key Performances

Kelsey Willingham led Rhodes with 13 points on efficient shooting, while AC Milam added 10 points and four assists. Avery Marsh and Mackenzie McKown each finished with eight points, and Juliet Howell contributed eight points off the bench.

Alyssa Bongiovanni paced the Lynx on the glass with eight rebounds as Rhodes continued to compete inside against Centre's physical play.
