Key Performances
Â
Although the men were not able to find the back of the net against Johns Hopkins, their first half disrupted the Blue Jays' offense, ultimately finding a few chances up the field but unfortunately not capitalizing on those progressions. The second half led to the 3-0 loss, after Rhodes got caught in tough challenges that they were not able to get themselves out of. However, their defense had a strong fought game and weekend in general, with Henri Kettner saving an impressive 12 shots against the 19 shots on goal he faced. His goalkeeping abilities were highlighted throughout both games and as a sophomore, will be a player to look out for this season. Senior Jason Viani and Sophomore Matthew Sucato also stood out as defensive strongholds, contributing to the Lynx' few chances by building out from the back line.
Â
An entertaining performance from freshman Paxton O'Leary who was the only one to find the back of the net this weekend for the Lynx against Montclair State. A great start for his career, and hopefully someone to see more of in the future.

Up Next: Rhodes vs. Hendrix College
Â
The men will shift their focus to next Friday, September 5, 2025, at 4:30 PM CT, as they take on the Hendrix College Warriors. Rhodes has an impressive history against Hendrix, only having one loss in the last 18 years. Last year they beat the warriors 2-0 in Conway, Arkansas, and look to keep that winning streak going on the Lynx' home field this year. It should be an exciting matchup to watch so come out and support, or tune in online!Â
