The Rhodes Lynx kicked off their 2025 season with a statement win on August 30 in Springfield, Ohio, shutting out the Wittenberg Tigers 3–0. Fueled by preseason momentum, the Lynx wasted no time asserting their presence. At 4:38, Alder Dickey found the back of the cage off a crisp assist from Bella Spina, setting the tone early. Rhodes dominated the second quarter, with first-year Summer Silverman netting her first collegiate goal at 20:56 with a second assist by Spina, who was relentless in her play making. Less than three minutes later, Spina added a goal of her own at 22:59, capping off a stellar performance and extending the Lynx lead to 3–0.The remainder of the match was back-and-forth, but Rhodes held firm, showcasing defensive discipline and cohesive teamwork to preserve the shutout, marking their first season win.
