The Southern Athletic Association (SAA) unveiled its 2025 Men's Lacrosse All-Conference teams and individual awards, highlighting an outstanding season for Rhodes College, which swept several major honors and placed 13Â players on the All-Conference rosters.
Senior David Hart of Raleigh, N.C., was named the Defensive Athlete of the Year, solidifying his status as a premier force on the field. A cornerstone of the Lynx defense, Hart's leadership guided the team to an SAA-best +9.3 scoring margin and a league-low 61 goals allowed. Over the season, Hart tallied 45 ground balls and 13 caused turnovers, delivering pivotal performances in conference victories against Berry and Oglethorpe. This marks Hart's second major conference accolade, having been named the 2022 SAA Newcomer of the Year.
In his inaugural year as head coach, Billy Cameron and his staff were honored as the SAA Coaching Staff of the Year. Cameron directed Rhodes to an undefeated conference record, capturing both the regular season and tournament championships. Under his leadership, the Lynx secured seven First Team All-Conference selections, the Defensive Athlete of the Year, and a home game in the first round of the NCAA Men's Lacrosse Tournament.
