The Women's tennis team continued with SAA competition this weekend going 2-0 at home. The Lynx faced Berry College and Oglethorpe University. They started the weekend strong with a 4-3 win over the Berry College Vikings. Gracie Rask and Emma McHale won at the No. 1 doubles position 6-4 and partners Zainab Baba and Lilly Higgins won their doubles match 6-1. On the singles side, Emma McHale pulled out a hard-fought victory in a tiebreak at the No. 2 spot. Zainab Baba defeated her opponent at the No. 3 position, and Sofia Rodriguez defeated her opponent at the No. 5 position. The Lynx carried the momentum into Sunday, defeating the Oglethorpe Stormy Petrels 5-0. All doubles teams and singles players for the Lynx saw victories on Sunday. The Lynx will face their last SAA opponent, Millsaps College, this weekend at the Dunavant Tennis Complex in Memphis for senior day.
