Rhodes Women's Track & Field Recap – 2025 Rhodes College Invitational 


The Rhodes women's track & field team delivered an outstanding performance at the 2025 Rhodes College Invitational, securing multiple top finishes in sprints, distance events, and throws.

Key Performances:
- Riley Imbornone placed 2nd in the mile (5:25.21), leading the distance squad.  
- Esther Lamb took 1st place in the 400m hurdles, running 1:13.09.  
- Rhodes' relay teams finished 1st place in the 4x400m (4:25.30) and 4x800m (10:18.79). 
- Kym Young captured 1st place in the high jump. 
- Evan Duet placed 3rd in the javelin with a throw of 36.82m. 
- Zoe Curtis finished 3rd in shot put with a mark of 11.02m, and 4th in both the hammer and javelin.  


Team Statistics:
- Event Wins: 3 (4x400m relay, 4x800m relay, high jump, 400m hurdles)  
- Podium Finishes (Top 3): 6  
- Top-8 Finishes: 14  


Looking Forward: Rhodes Women Continue Strong Outdoor Campaign

With strong performances in sprints, distance, jumps, and relays, the Lynx women's team is building momentum heading into the rest of the outdoor season. Their next meet will be March 21st and 22nd at the Ole Miss Invitational and the Bellhaven Invitational.
