Rhodes Falls to Oglethorpe

Friday, January 31, Rhodes College traveled to Oglethorpe University to take on the Stormy Petrals in their second SAA matchup of the season. Rhodes put forth a spirited performance in their game against Oglethorpe, showcasing determination and teamwork, despite the 71-57 final score. The team demonstrated their strengths in rebounding and second-chance points, reflecting their never-give-up attitude.

Key Performances: 

Avery Marsh led the way for Rhodes, scoring 16 points while adding 5 rebounds and 3 assists. Her ability to generate offense kept Rhodes competitive and showcased her leadership on the court.

A'niya Lagarde delivered an impressive double-double performance, contributing 12 points and a game-high 12 rebounds. Lagarde's presence in the paint was pivotal on both ends, and her 3 steals demonstrated her defensive impact.
