Game Recap: Rhodes vs. Hendrix College

Rhodes earned a convincing 89–57 win over Hendrix on December 6 at Mallory Gymnasium in Memphis, controlling the game from the opening tip with efficient shooting, strong rebounding, and steady defensive pressure. The Lynx maintained momentum throughout both halves, using depth and tempo to keep the Warriors from closing the gap.

Key Performances

Phil Dotson led the scoring with 24 points, including four three-pointers, and added three assists while consistently creating clean looks. Sam Maddox provided a major lift off the bench with 16 points and four made threes, helping Rhodes stretch the floor. Cass Ramberg turned in an effective two-way performance with 13 points and eight rebounds, including seven on the offensive end. Shawn Jones Jr. added seven points and eight rebounds, giving Rhodes another reliable interior presence. Defensively, the Lynx collected 11 steals and seven blocks as multiple players contributed to disrupting Hendrix's rhythm.

Game Highlights

Rhodes established early control, shooting 40 percent from three in the first half while building a 44–27 lead. Strong bench play and transition scoring extended the margin as the Lynx totaled 42 bench points and 22 fast-break points. A series of second-half threes from Dotson and Maddox helped seal the outcome as Rhodes continued to pull away.
