Game Recap 1: Rhodes vs. Mary Washington University

The Rhodes College field hockey team traveled to Fredericksburg, Virginia, to open conference play in a fiercely contested matchup against the Mary Washington University Eagles on Saturday, October 4, 2025. The Lynx demonstrated unity but fell short in a 2-1 game.

Lucy Frederick was an anchor in the midfield, creating transitions and setting a strong tempo throughout the game. Frederick also provided an assist for the Lynx.

Zoë Dzialowski scored the lone goal for Rhodes, capitalizing on an offensive opportunity.

Game 2 Recap: Rhodes vs. Christopher Newport University

On Sunday, October 5, 2025, Rhodes traveled to Newport News, Virginia, to face the Christopher Newport University Captains for a non-conference matchup. The Lynx showed grit and growth but ultimately fell 4-0.
