Game Recap 1: Rhodes vs. Marian University
After a bye weekend, the Lynx were eager to return to the field. On Saturday October 25, 2025, the Rhodes College Field Hockey team faced the Marian University Sabres in a heated conference matchup on Mason Field. This game held special significance, honoring a teammate who passed away in 2017 from Epilepsy. The Lynx played this game for something greater than themselves, the Lynx played with heart and grit. The battle resulted in a 1-0 victory for Rhodes.

Both teams continued with relentless fighting but ultimately the Lynx won in a 1-0 game.
Game 2 Recap: Rhodes vs. Concordia University (Wis.)
On Sunday October 26, 2025 the Lynx faced the Concordia University Falcons for their Senior Day. Not only did Rhodes get to honor their graduating teammates, but got to play in a spirited conference game. The Rhodes Field Hockey team capped off their weekend with a 4-0 win over the Falcons, securing a 2-0 weekend.
Key Performances
On the frontline Bella Spina started the offensive drive with two goals in the first half.
Lucy Frederick made her presence known on both ends of the field, contributing on offense and defense. Frederick scored from a penalty corner and supported the play throughout the field.
Ellie Pratka was a strong force in the back field, disrupting plays and leading the defense with poise.
Game Highlights
Coming off of a win, the Rhodes College Field Hockey Team was determined to earn another. Both the Lynx and the Falcons were prepared for competitive conference play. The Lynx came out hot, and Bella Spina secured the first goal at 6:15. Spina kept her momentum, finding the net once again at 20:34 off an assist from Meredith Dunn. The Lynx started the second half just as hungry. At 30:36 Lucy Frederick scored with a powerful shot on a penalty corner. Maria Zaporozhski finished off the scoring at 38:53 with a tip in from Zoe Dzialowski. The Lynx wrapped up their Senior Day with a 4-0 conference win.
