Game Recap: Rhodes vs. Berry College
The Rhodes women's soccer team secured another three points for conference play against the Berry College Vikings in Rome, Georgia on Saturday October 18, 2025. After a second half goal and an impressive PK save, Rhodes won 1-0 and remains in first place in the SAA.

The Lynx settled into the game nicely and dominated possession throughout the first half. Senior
Olivia Barfield had some amazing saves against Berry's attack. Rhodes' back line demonstrated their composure throughout the game, switching the field nicely and confidently, waiting patiently to go forward. The Lynx had a few attacking chances that they weren't able to finish in the first half. In the second half however, Rhodes came out stronger than before, with Senior
Sophia Rall scoring her fifth goal of the season after a shot from Senior
Reese Owens was bobbled by Berry's keeper, which allowed Rall to place it into the back of the net. This gave Rhodes a 1-0 score against the Vikings. Berry did not make it easy for Rhodes to keep the lead, as they battled against the Lynx for the whole 90 minutes. It came down to a stellar play from Barfield, who saved a penalty kick for Berry after Rhodes was called for a handball in the box. This is Barfield's second PK save in conference play that has secured the Lynx win. After this win the Lynx are ranked 19
th in the nation and 4
th in the region.Â

The women take on the Trinity University Tigers on Friday October 24, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas at 6:00 PM CT. Rhodes has not played Trinity since 2011, however there will be many matchups to come as Trinity is now apart of the SAA. The Lynx have been prepping for Trinity all season and look forward to taking on the Tigers in this defining conference matchup.Â
