In a remarkable display of dominance and skill, The Rhodes College Lynx delivered a stunning performance against the Sewanee Tigers. From the opening whistle to the final buzzer, Rhodes asserted their authority with confidence and precision, captivating fans with their exceptional gameplay.
The Lynx showcased their superiority with offensive domination by tallying 13 goals. The Lynx offense was led by seniors Avery Burke and Chloe Parker, sophomore Caroline Kardian with 4 goals each, junior Anna Erskine, and first-year Alban Erdle with 2 goals each. Rhodes executed flawless passing and pinpoint accuracy on cage to build an early lead. Senior Molly Martiner and junior Molly Heidrick tallied 2 assists each to be the glue for the Lynx offense. Their offensive domination was unmatched, as they continually found gaps in the Sewanee defense to score with ease.
Despite Sewanee's efforts to defend, Rhodes maintained relentless pressure, controlling possession and dictating the pace of the game from the draw. With a stellar performance from Burke, Kardian, and junior Bari Pinkett on the draw, Rhodes asserted their dominance and left no doubt about who was in control.
