Conference play from Stauffer field featuring two of the top teams in the SAA commenced this afternoon as the Lynx took on the Hendrix College Warriors. It was a pitching duel most of the way as both starters produced impressive outings. Zac Sohosky took to the mound for Rhodes as he tossed 6.0 innings allowing 2 runs and striking out 7.

The starter for Hendrix had success keeping the Lynx bats silent as their only run of the game did not come until the bottom of the 8th thanks to a sacrifice fly from Dante Messina that drove in Myles Kruger.

Hendrix leads the series 1-0 heading into the double header tomorrow (March 23). The Lynx will look to bounce back and earn a pair of conference victories against a very tough Warriors. Games will be played at 12pm and 3pm from Stauffer field.
