Game Recap: Men's Lacrosse |

Rhodes Runs Past Transylvania 12-6

On a gorgeous Spring Break day, Rhodes travelled up to Transylvania (Lexington, KY) on Monday, March 11th to play our third game in six days and pushed past a determined Pioneer squad. Both teams came out firing, generating quality shots early. Rhodes found the back of the net first and pulled away to a 7-2 halftime lead. With Rhodes holding a slim lead at 2-1, the Rhodes defense buckled down and caused a turnover and Jimmy Mayfield '24 corralled a critical loose ball and pushed it forward to Reed Dousevics '25 who raced down the field for a transition goal to gain some momentum and juice up the Rhodes sideline. Riding the momentum wave, Rhodes produced a 7-2 halftime lead. The second half saw Rhodes control tempo for long stretches and widen their lead by one goal to finish the game at 12-6.
