Lynx Fall in Day 2 of Tip Off Classic
Today at 3pm, the Women's Basketball team tipped off against the Piedmont University Lions. The Lynx coming off of a win yesterday and the Lions falling to ETBU were both tyring to improve their opening weekend record.

The match up between the Lynx and Lions started out close in the first quarter. Both teams batting back and forth for possession. The Lynx were able to secure the lead oat the end of 1st leading 16-13. The Lions began to full court press the Rhodes Women for the rest of the game, and applied continuous pressure. The Lynx remained with the momentum until the end of the 2nd quarter where Piedmont landed a 3 point in the last six seconds.
The Piedmont Lions then continued with the momentum for the rest of the second half, and shutting down the Lynx offensive in the 3rd quarter. The Lions led by 13 starting the 4th quarter. The Lynx tried to battle back but eventually fell to Piedmont with the final score, 62-79.
