This weekend, the Rhodes Volleyball team fell to Millsaps in their last conference game on Saturday, November 2nd.
RECAP: RHODES VS MILLSAPS
The first set started slow for the Lynx with the Majors going on an early run. A kill from sophomore
Yzzi Dsamou gave the Lynx their first point. Starting off from behind, the Lynx had to battle to get points. Kills from senior
Kym Young, junior
Hope Wehrli, and sophomore
Rachel Clarke helped add points to the scoreboard. Unfortunately, the Lynx fell to the Majors 17-25.
The second set started off better for the Lynx with both teams earning points. Both teams battled throughout the set. With help from junior setter
Mackenzie Geer and sophomore setter
Emma Clark,
Yzzi Dsamou got five kills and
Meg Gebhart got three kills. The Lynx fought hard, but fell short 20-25.
The third set began with an ace from sophomore setter
Emma Clark and an early kill from
Yzzi Dsamou. Unfortunately, the Majors went on another run leaving the Lynx to try to catch up. Freshman
Isabella Kventensky made an appearance in this set, helping the Lynx with their offense. The Lynx battled, but lost to the Majors 14-25.

Next weekend, the Lynx will be in Conway, Arkansas participating in a non-conference tournament. The Lynx will take on East Texas Baptist University and LeTourneau University on Saturday, November 9th.

The last time the Lynx played East Texas University was in 2018 in Conway, Arkansas where they suffered a loss. The Lynx played LeTourneau University earlier this season in September and lost in four sets.
