Both the Lynx and Captains came into this game with intensity. CNU's Delaney Norr put the first point on the board at 8:05, quickly followed by a goal from Riley Iasiello at 10:05, putting the captains ahead. Despite relentless efforts from the Lynx in the second half, Courtney Hughlett found the back of the cage at 33:13, making it 0-3. The Lynx continued to push but Denaly Norr scored her second goal at 49:50 bringing the final score to 0-4, a loss for the Lynx.
