Men's Soccer fall short to the Centre Colonels

The Lynx faced a close loss against the Centre Colonels on Sunday, October 20th. With the final score being 1-2, the Lynx put up a strong fight against the colonels, never giving up hope. 

Match Recap: Rhodes v. Centre

The Lynx faced another conference loss on October 20th while being back in Memphis facing the Centre Colonels. With the close game, many key performers stood out while on the field. The Colonels started the half with a strong offensive presence, with the 2 goals being scored within three minutes of one another. Rhodes had many attempts to score a goal to bring the score closer, with Luke Grant scoring the goal (assisted by Dawson Ullrich) 10 minutes before the half closed up. 

In the second half, the Lynx had a significantly stronger offensive presence with more attempted shots, but fell short at achieving any more goals for the game. Though the lynx fought hard offensively to score another goal to even the score, the Colonels had a strong defense that prevented the Lynx from gaining any more goals, ending the game in favor of Centre.
