Rhodes finished Spring Break with a contest vs. the Flying Dutchmen of Hope College. Hope
controlled much of the 1st quarter with an offensive barrage that saw goalkeeper
Josh Salisbury
face 14 shots in the game's opening minutes. The Flying Dutchmen ended the quarter up 1 goal,
with the momentum heavily in their favor. Rhodes regrouped in the 2nd period, and their
offense tacked on 6 goals to lead 7-4 heading into the second half. Hope chipped away at the
lead bringing down the deficit to 2 on multiple occasions, but it was not enough as Rhodes
pulled away, finishing the game with a score of 12-8.
