Game 2 of the Lynx-Vikings doubleheader saw
Nick Ferazzi hurl an absolute beauty of a game. He went the complete 7 innings, giving up only 2 runs on 3 hits, shutting down the Vikings' bats.
The Lynx came through offensively in multiple clutch moments. After
Corbin Kinder drove in
Wood Kimbrough with a single,
Gunnar Vachris singled as well, scoring
Ben Wilson. In the fifth, with the score knotted at 2,
Peter York hit his second homer of the day, shooting the ball over the fence in right field, giving Ferazzi the lead he needed. The Lynx added on in the sixth, with
Corbin Kinder hitting a sac fly, scoring
Wood Kimbrough, and Vachris singling again, to score
Ben Wilson.
With a four-run lead, Ferazzi recorded the final 3 outs with efficiency, sealing the sweep of the day for the Lynx, and taking the series vs Berry.
The Lynx are back in action at 11:00 am tomorrow as they look to sweep the series vs Berry and improve to 9-6 on the season.
