th.
The SAA tournament title was the third straight for Lynx head coach
Rodney Rogan as Rhodes won their fourth SAA title in five years. In the 11 years of SAA Women's Basketball Tournament play, Rhodes has now won 7 SAA titles.
The Lynx used a crucial 15-2 run in the 4
th period to erase a 40-38 Colonels lead and take a 54-43 lead with 1:34 to play and secured the Lynx win.

Taya Lee (Brentwood, TN) had 12 rebounds and first year forward
Giana Vlahakos (Houston, TX) had a double-double off the bench, scoring 10 points and grabbed a team high 14 rebounds.
Lynx freshman guard
Avery Marsh (Little Rock, AR) added 12 points and was also named to the SAA All-Tournament team. Mathangani was named Most Valuable Tournament Player and Vlahakos was also named to the All-Tournament Team. Rhodes now advances to the NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Tournament for the 6
th time in school history.
The NCAA selection announcement of all teams participating in the Women's Basketball championship will take place Monday February 27
th at 2:30 p.m. Eastern time (tentative). First/second-round sites will also be announced.
