Atlanta - Without several key players making the trip this weekend, Rhodes College women's soccer upended Oglethorpe University 3-0 Friday night.
Three different Lynx scored as Rhodes remains undefeated on the season. Sophomore
Cati Cabra sent the ball into the box where junior
Anya Ranaraja headed in the game-winning goal in the 25th minute.
The 1-0 halftime lead was extended in the 60th minute when
Annika Johnson scored. Senior
Maddy Peticolas dribbled her way to give the Lynx a 3-0 advantage a minute and a half later.
The Lynx outshot the Stormy Petrels 22-3 and held a 5-4 corner kick advantage.
Rhodes, now 2-0-1 on the season, hasn't conceded a goal yet this season.
The Lynx will turn around and face a tough Berry squad on Sunday in Mount Berry, Ga. at noon ET.
