Little Rock, Ark. - Playing inside War Memorial Stadium, which can house over 54,000 fans, Rhodes College football concluded their season with a 27-13 loss to Millsaps College over the Southern Athletic Association Championship Weekend. 

Rhodes (0-3) in the East Division and Millsaps (0-3) in the West Division met at the neutral site field for a rainy 6 p.m. Sunday night contest. 

Millsaps opened the first drive with a turnover on downs, but the Majors' defense incepted a Lynx pass on Rhodes' first drive and ran it back for a 51 yard touchdown. On Millsaps' next drive, they secured a field goal to go up 10-0 at the end of the first quarter. 

The Lynx went down the field in 14 plays and 60 yards later secured their first passing touchdown of the season. Ethan Chamberlin caught Luke Macias' 17 yard pass to cut the lead to four. Later Millsaps added another seven points after going 13 plays and 63 yards, but the Lynx ran out of time on the last drive of the half to cut Millsaps' 17-6 lead. 

Michael Thomas intercepted a pass on Millsaps' first drive of the second half before Robert Nieto intercepted a pass on their drive after that. Nieto then ran the ball back 20 yards. Millsaps converted another seven points on a 44 yard pass and point-after attempt to lead 24-6. 

On 1st and 19, Macias served up a 21-yard pass to Ammon Turner before Wiley Henshaw connected on the extra point on the first drive of the fourth quarter. The Lynx defense recorded three tackles for a loss on Millsaps' first drive of the quarter which included a sack by Jordan McCoy to turn the ball over on downs. Rhodes held the Majors to a field goal in the quarter.

Rhodes finished the season 0-4.
