Memphis - It was a rain-filled afternoon as Rhodes softball hosted Hendrix College in their final regular season series. The SAA opponents switched up the series with a single game on Friday due to the weather, and will honor four Lynx seniors prior to their noon doubleheader on Saturday.
A three-run home run in the third inning was all Hendrix needed to defeat the Lynx. The Warriors added a sacrifice fly in the fourth before senior
Kendall Henry doubled in senior
Haley Rath who singled to help the Lynx avoid a shutout.
Hendrix closed out scoring with two runs in the sixth on five hits.
Peyton Clark went 2-for-4, the only Lynx to tally more than one hit on the day. Rath walked twice before senior
Bri Maniscalco suffered the 6-1 loss.
Senior day festivities will begin around 11:50 a.m. on Saturday.
