Sewanee, Tenn. - Rhodes College baseball improves to 15-13 on the season after winning the rubber match at Sewanee Sunday afternoon. The Lynx are now 7-5 and have won each of their last three SAA series matchups. 

Will Heurtin started the scoring with a solo home run in the second inning. The Lynx plated another run before Sewanee tied the game in the bottom half of the inning. Senior Jacob Telli led the third with a triple when freshman Wood Kimbrough hit a sac fly to center field for the winning run. The Lynx tallied another three runs in the seventh on two hits and a leadoff error. Zach Liebenson reached first on an error to lead off the inning before Paul Giacomazzi and Brady John both singled which scored two runs. After two walks and a wild pitch, John scored on a fielder's choice from Heurtin to end scoring. 

On the mound, Nick Bosma earned the win after pitching 6.2 innings. Alex Garrett picked up the save after coming in with the tying run on deck in the seventh. He threw 2.1 innings without allowing a hit. 

Telli's triple is the fourth for the Hendersonville, Tenn. native in five games. Giacomazzi went 3-for-5 in the game while Heurtin and John both tallied two RBI. 

The Lynx are on the road against Webster University this week, playing a doubleheader on Wednesday, April 12. They return to SAA action at home on April 6th against Centre at noon.
