Memphis - Rhodes College softball defeated NCAA Division II opponent Lane College 9-2 Wednesday afternoon. That marks the third win in a row for the Lynx who are now 19-8 on the season.

Lane College scored the first two runs of the game before the Lynx tied it in the bottom of the first. In the second inning, Jill Healy hit a solo home run for the game-winning RBI before Kendall Henry launched one over the fence in the same inning to put Rhodes up 5-2.

The Lynx scored four more runs in the sixth off five hits and an error. In the inning, Peyton Clark hit a sacrifice fly to left field before Henry hit her second two-run home run of the day, scoring Samantha Feinstein who doubled earlier. With two outs, Lauren King, the designated player, doubled in Kayla Rose for the final run of the game.
