Memphis - Rhodes College softball kept fans in suspense until the last two innings of each game of their doubleheader over Birmingham-Southern. Rhodes swept the Panthers 5-4 and 1-0. 

Game One
Rhodes scored first on a Peyton Clark single up the middle in the third inning. BSC responded by scoring four runs on two home runs across the fourth and fifth innings. In the sixth, Kendall Henry doubled down the right field line to pull Rhodes within one. With two outs, sophomore Lauren King hit a two-run homer to give the Lynx a 5-4 lead and the eventual win. Cheering from the Lynx could be heard all the way by the long jump pit at the track meet. During the game, Haley Rath tripled while Bri Maniscalco earned the win and King the save. 

Game Two
Rhodes offense struggled against Jessica Perley, only earning one hit in the game until Henry led off the seventh with the walk-off home run, her fourth homer of the season. King earned the complete-game victory. 

Rhodes and BSC will finish the series Sunday at noon.
