Conway, Ark. - The Rhodes College women's basketball team picked up a win Saturday to close out the regular season. The Lynx defeated Hendrix College on the road 66-42 to improve to 14-11 overall and a fourth seed with a conference record of 7-7. 

At Hendrix, Rhodes led by 10 headed into the final period where they out-scored their hosts 21-7. Senior Allie Young recorded a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds. Kiera Downey and Lindsey Whiteside each tallied 13 points to round out double-digit scoring for the Lynx. The duo combined to go five-of-seven from three-point range. 

The SAA Women's Basketball Tournament, held at Millsaps College this year, runs Feb. 22-24. The Lynx will take on No. 5-seeded Birmingham-Southern at 3 p.m. CST on Thursday. The winner will play the winner of No. 1 (Millsaps) vs. No. 8-Hendrix at 4 p.m. on Friday. Earlier this year, Rhodes fell to BSC by four points before winning another dual match by winning on the road 62-56.
