The Rhodes men's lacrosse team has made program history before the 2020 season has even started after it was announced that the Lynx have been ranked 20th in the Nike/US Lacrosse NCAA Division III Preseason Poll. It's the first preseason national ranking for the Lynx in program history. Rhodes finished the 2019 season ranked 14th in the South regional ranking after the Lynx advanced to the Sweet 16 for the second time in program history with a 16-4 season record.

Eight seniors will guide the Lynx for the 2020 campaign set to begin on the road at DePauw University on February 15. The Lynx return five All-SAA honorees from last season including 2019 Newcomer of the Year, Alexi Thomas and Rhodes' point leader (68) and SAA assist leader (46) Christian Cisneros. Alongside the duo are fellow all-conference teammates Mac Ference, Addison Mueller and J.J. Hoots, as well as leading goal-scorer Matt Perez who recorded 39 goals last season.

The Lynx will open at home on February 22 against Transylvania to begin a three-game home stand before they travel to No. 2-ranked Salisbury March 9. This year Rhodes will host conference opponents Berry (conference opener), Oglethorpe, and Hendrix before closing out the regular season against Colorado College on April 10.
