Birmingham, Ala. - Rhodes volleyball scored 20 or more points in each set of their loss to No. 9-ranked Berry College Friday afternoon. The 25-20. 25-21, 25-21 loss in the opening round of the Southern Athletic Association Tournament ends the season for the Lynx who went 10-17 on the year.

Emily Korba recorded eight kills and a .304 hitting average. Freshman
Annie Entz also recorded eight kills while senior
Heather Antrim recorded five blocks including two solo.Â
In the first set with the score tied 8-8, Berry opened the game on a five-point run before Rhodes pulled back within three (20-17). A Korba kill again put Rhodes three points behind the Vikings before Berry closed the set on a 3-1 run. Berry opened the game with a 7-2 lead until the Lynx reversed the role and trailed by one (9-8). A Berry attack error tied the game at 10 when the Vikings took a timeout. The Lynx went on to earn a four-point lead (19-15) until Berry earned five straight points. The teams tied at 20 and 21 points until Berry took a 2-0 lead with five points to end the set.Â
In the third set, the Lynx led 12-10 until the Vikings took a 15-12 advantage. Rhodes took back the lead briefly after another Korba kill (20-19) but Berry earned the sweep after finishing the set on a 6-1 run.Â
The Lynx will lose Antrim and Korba to graduation and all-conference honors will be released on Monday.
