Sewanee, Tenn. - The Rhodes Collge swimming & diving teams combined for nine victories after the first day of the 2019 Igloo Invite, hosted by Sewanee. The Lynx women lead a pack of six teams with 525 points while the men sit in third of seven teams with 302 points.
Sophomore transfer
Sinead Eksteen broke her own 500 free record, finishing the race in 4:53.91, a new meet record. The women also took third (
Nancy Hulslander), fourth (
Lilli Metts) and fifth (
Elyse Jacobs) in the race. The Lynx also earned new meet records in the 200 back (Eksteen), 100 free (
Madi Griffin), and the women's 200 free relay (Griffin,
Mary Beth Baker, Hulslander, Eksteen).
Evan Ziolkowski was the lone male to win an individual event, and totaled three wins on the day.
