Chattanooga, Tenn. - Centre College's two-RBI single in the bottom of the first, followed by a triple in the third scored all the runs necessary to hand Rhodes College a 3-0 loss in the opening game of the 2018 Southern Athletic Association Tournament.

Kendall Henry, Jill Healy and Haley Rath each picked up a hit for the Lynx while Bri Maniscalco pitched all six innings in the circle. Rath earned a walk while leadoff hitter Peyton Clark earned two walks. Healy's lone hit was also the lone extra base hit for the Lynx. 

Rhodes, the fifth seed, will play at 2 p.m. ET Friday in an elimination game against the loser of Friday's noon game between No. 6- seeded Millsaps and No. 7-seeded Sewanee. There will be no live video available on Field 1 for this game, only live stats.
