Jackson, Miss. - Rhodes College men's tennis was tied 4-4 with last week's No. 40-ranked Millsaps College Friday night before falling in their final singles battle. The Lynx are now 12-7 on the season and 4-2 in conference. Tonight's results lift Millsaps to second in the SAA standings with the Lynx a game behind in third.
In the match, Millsaps, ranked ninth regionally, went up 2-1 after doubles against the No. 11-ranked Lynx in the Mid-South region.

Ritwik Chatterjee won at No. 3-doubles 8-6 before each took their own singles victories at No. 5 and No. 1 respectively. Lauture tallied the lone shutout, securing a 6-0 win in his first singles set. Rounding out Rhodes' singles wins was
Sairam Gudiseva in the sixth slot, winning 6-3 in both sets.
Rhodes will travel to Birmingham-Southern for a Sunday matchup at 9 a.m. in their final regular season contest.
