Memphis - Rhodes College women's tennis suffered a 5-1 loss to Centre College Saturday before dropping their final home game of the season to No. 11-ranked Sewanee 5-0 Sunday. Rhodes is now 4-12 overall and 2-3 in the Southern Athletic Association.
Rhodes' big win on Saturday occurred when
Caroline Doherty and
Dasha Safarian teamed up for the victory at No. 1-doubles. The duo held a 9-8 advantage before winning their tie-breaker 7-1.
The Lynx conclude regular season play this weekend when they play at Millsaps on Saturday followed by a trip to Birmingham-Southern on Sunday.
