Conway, Ark. - Rhodes volleyball concluded regular season play Saturday with non-conference matchups against Louisiana College and East Texas Baptist University. Both games were neutral-site matchups on the campus of Hendrix College.
Rhodes opened the day with a 3-1 win over Louisiana College where sophomore libero
Mary Frances Daniel recorded 33 digs to surpass 500 digs this season. After dropping the first set by two points, the Lynx won the next three 25-20, 25-16 and 25-12. During the final set, the Lynx hit .419, recording 15 kills on 31 attempts.
Emily Korba served up four aces in the win while
Marissa Hall led Rhodes with 23 assists.
Kelsey Glasper's 14 kills and 15 digs was the only double-double of the day while
Heather Antrim hit .429, recording seven kills on 14 attempts with just one error.
A couple of hours later, Rhodes finished the regular season with a three-set loss to ETBU. The Lynx were just two points away in the second set. Freshman
Tyler Feddema led Rhodes with seven kills while Daniel added another 18 digs to her totals. Her 525 digs on the season is second highest among conference players.
Rhodes will open the SAA Tournament Nov. 2nd at Berry College against No. 4-seeded Sewanee at 3 p.m. ET.
