Danville, Ky. - The Lynx sent Centre to the free throw line 32 times Sunday while the Colonels only gave Rhodes eight free throw opportunities. The Lynx suffered a 90-76 loss as they dropped their third consecutive game. Rhodes is now 9-11 overall and 3-6 in SAA play.
Rhodes' three-point shooting was on par as
Mitch Weatherford and
Jake Nestlehutt went three-of-four while
Owen Galvin made one of his two attempts. Overall, the Lynx made 13 treys on 27 attempts for a .481 average while Centre netted six long balls and averaged 28.6%.
Galvin led Rhodes with 12 points, going five-of-eight overall with Weatherford tallying 11 points on four-of-six overall. Weatherford led the Lynx with four assists.
Centre led 43-35 at halftime with 17 of those points coming from the charity stripe.
Rhodes is on the road again this weekend, traveling to Berry College Friday and Oglethorpe University Sunday.
