Box Score Conway, Ark. - In another contest hosted by Hendrix College, Rhodes men's soccer came up with a second-half goal to edge McMurry University 1-0 for their first win of the 2017 season. The Lynx are now 1-1 on the year.

Senior Mark Robinson netted the game-winner in the 59th minute from freshman Ian Schiller. Schiller went down the outside and sent Robinson the ball where he went one on one with McMurry's goalkeeper. Robinson has scored both of the Lynx goals this year and this one bent to the back post and landed in the side netting. It's Schiller's first career assist.

Rhodes returns to Memphis to host the Greg Volgas Memorial Tournament Sep. 9-10. Fontbonne University, Hendrix College and the Mississippi University for Women will come into town, however the Lynx will not be playing Hendrix this weekend. In an unusual way, Rhodes will host a neutral-site game at 2 p.m. between Hendrix and Fontbonne before their own home opener against MUW at 4 p.m. On Sunday, the Lynx will take on Fontbonne, also at 4 p.m.
