Jackson, Miss. - Rhodes College Volleyball swept LaGrange College to open the 2017 season. The game was the first played for the 2017-18 calendar year for the entire athletic department as the Lynx then took a 3-0 win over Agnes Scott College.

The Lynx dominated LaGrange 25-12 and 25-9 before taking a 25-22 third-set victory.

Rhodes will continue play in the Millsaps College Invitational this weekend by taking on East Texas Baptist University and the Mississippi University for Women at noon and 4 p.m. respectively on Saturday, Sept. 3. There are no live statistics or video streaming of the tournament. Once game files are available they will be posted online. 

The Lynx are 2-0 after their first day of competition.
