BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The No. 14 Rhodes baseball team defeated No. 5 Birmingham Southern College on Sunday in the Southern Athletic Association Championship, 2-1.
The Lynx improve to 32-11 on the year while the Panthers finish their season with a 34-10-1 mark.

Josh Keen, and with a strong defensive showing and pitching effort, the Lynx held on for the 2-1 victory.
Adam Putnam picked up the win for the Rhodes pitching staff, with seven strikeouts and scattering five hits in the contest.
Blake Glauben came in for the final inning of play, picking up the save.
Rhodes will await their fate, as the win assures them a spot in the NCAA post season Championships.
