WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – The No. 14 Rhodes baseball team picked up a 4-1 win over Wheaton College (Mass.) on Wednesday on their spring break trip.
 
The Lynx improve to 15-3 on the year, while the Lyons fall to 3-3 on the season.
 
Rhodes worked to post one run in the third inning, and added three runs in the seventh frame for the 4-1 win. The Lynx offense rallied for four hits in the outing, with Bill Munson leading the way going two-for-three from the plate.
 
Adam Putnam got the start on the hill for Rhodes, picking up his sixth win of the year. The junior pitched seven complete innings, with six strikeouts. Josh Olejnik finished the outing, where he threw two full innings, and picked up his third save of the season.
 
Rhodes will be back in action on March 13 in Winter Haven, Fla. When they face off against the University of Southern Maine.
