MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Rhodes women's lacrosse team picked up a solid win over Southwestern University on Sunday, 18-11.
Rhodes improves to 2-0 on the young season while the Pirates fall to 1-1 on the year.
The Lynx had a balanced offensive attack with eight different players working into the scoring column.
Kendall Cunningham led the way with six goals, and one assist in the outing.
Lindsay Gess added three goals on three shots, and dished out three assists.
Sarah Daniels picked up the win, in goal for all 60 minutes of play. While in the cage, the senior grabbed seven saves.
Rhodes will be back in action on Feb. 14 when they host Berry College at 1 p.m.
