MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Rhodes men's basketball team gets set to host the Southern Athletic Association conference tournament.
 
The Lynx, who earned the No. 1 seed by defeating Millsaps College on Sunday, will prepare to face the Majors again in the first round of the tournament. With eight teams competing in this year's tournament, Friday, Feb. 27 will see four contests.
 
No. 2 seed, and Co-Regular Season SAA Champs Centre College will take on No. 7 seed Berry College in the first contest, slated for a 1 p.m. tip. In the 3 p.m. feature, No. 3 Sewanee will go toe-to-toe with No. 6 Hendrix College. The feature of the day will be the 6 p.m. tip between the Rhodes Lynx and the No. 8 seeded Millsaps. The No. 4 and 5 seeds will cap off the opening round, with Birmingham Southern College and Oglethorpe University wrapping up the action.
 
The semi-final round of action we be held at 5 and 7 p.m. on Feb. 28, with the Championship contest on March 1 at 1 p.m.
 
All contests will be held in Mallory Gym on the campus of Rhodes College.
