Box Score MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Rhodes volleyball team dropped a tight match to Fontbonne University on Sunday, 3-0.
 
The loss sets the Lynx at 4-3 on the year, while the Griffins improve to 3-5 for the season.
 
The Lynx fell by close margins in all three sets, 25-22, 26-24 and 25-18.
 
First-year Elasha Williams led the offense with her game-high 15 kills, and .314 hitting percentage. Senior Mollie Newbern added seven kills to the Lynx total.
 
Libero Tasha Heller dug 17 balls in the outing with Williams adding 14 digs of her own.
 
Dishing out the assists were Allison Limmer and Caryn Hawkins, who had 14 sets each in the day.
 
Rhodes will be back in action on the road at Hendrix College in their Hendrix Invitational Sept. 12-13.
